TESOL House is a part of Aii Language Center. Aii is well known throughout the country for its superior quality education and services and is recognized as one of the largest educational institutions in the country.

We have undergone extensive research and training to ensure that we offer the best quality training. Our mission is not completely business oriented, but also focused on raising the standards of education in Cambodia. This is because we want to ensure that our younger generations, who will eventually lead our future, have the best foundation possible to kick-start their careers.

Management Perspective Workshop

Why you should attend

This is a highly interactive workshop that facilitates management with a better understanding of the attitude and skills required to:

  • lead and motivate staff
  • create a positive workplace

Small changes in perspective can go a long way in building the company culture.

You can apply the hands-on skills the moment you step out of the training room!

 

Who should attend?

  • Upper management, team leaders, first-line managers, and supervisors
  • Any person who already has some experience in a management position and is now ready to further develop his management capability

 

How long is this course?

2-day workshop (9 am – 4 pm)

Tea break: morning (10:30 am – 10:45 am), afternoon (2:30 pm – 2:45 pm)

 

(refreshments will be provided)

Lunch: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm (course lunch is provided on the 2nd day)

 

What is the attendance policy?

Participation in all the modules is mandatory. Participants who miss more than two hours of the entire program will not be eligible to receive the certificate.

 

Certificate

A certificate of completion will be presented at the end of the course.

 

Methodology

This program gives participants ample opportunities to exchange views and learn from each other’s experiences. It also includes practical case studies, group discussions and presentations. Appropriate energizers will be used to keep the participants active throughout the workshop.

 

Recommended class size

A maximum of 20 participants would be ideal to facilitate a participative workshop where all participants would have ample opportunities to be involved.

Our Team

RAVI GHIMIRE – TESOL HOUSE DIRECTOR

Mr. Ravi Ghimire is the Campus Director at Aii Language Center, Mao Tse Tong Campus. He joined the organization in February 2019 as a part-time teacher and quickly progressed to full-time teacher. He has a strong dedication towards quality education and endeavors to constantly improve himself, thus he was promoted to an ESL Head Teacher in 2020. Due to his continued excellence, he became a Deputy Campus Director in 2021, and a Campus Director in 2022.

His goal is to maintain integrity and augment professionalism for quality education.

Mr. Ghimire is a professional ESL Teacher with CELTA, Pass B from Cambridge University, London, and a bachelor in Business Studies from Tribhuwan University, Kathmandu, Nepal.

STEVEN LEE – TESOL AND CORPORATE TRAINER

Steven Lee is an experienced TESOL and corporate trainer from Singapore. He has a B.A. degree from The University of Tennessee in the U.S. and more than 10 years of experience working for multinational companies in Singapore like IBM, Thomson, and Singapore Press Holdings.

He worked as an independent management trainer with The Mekong Private Sector Development Facility (MPDF), which is part of the World Bank Group. He completed the Training of Trainers for the “Supervisory Skills” program and facilitated the training for garment factory supervisors and managers in Cambodia. He also developed and facilitated management and professional development workshops for companies in Cambodia like Cambodia Airports and MJQ Education.

He has been involved in the TEFL industry for more than 20 years as a teacher and later as a teacher trainer. He brings real-world examples into the training, so that it is fun, engaging, and immediately applicable.

1st day: Morning

  • Professionalism in the workplace (45 min.)
  • Creating a positive open communication climate (1 hr. 15 min.)

1st day: Afternoon

  • Leadership communication styles and their impact on the team/workplace (2 hr. 15 min)
  • Fun review game (25 min.)

2nd day: Morning

  • Changing workplace paradigms (1 hr.)
  • Application of Maslow’s Hierarchy to the workplace (1 hr. 40 min.)

2nd day: Afternoon (Start at 1:30 pm)

  • Negotiation outcomes (1 hr. 30 min.)
  • Closing and certificate presentation
